Welcome to Online Orientation at D'Youville College!

Learning online can be a rewarding, and a challenging part of your college education. We know that students choose online learning for many different reasons, but whatever your reason, we want to make sure you are prepared to have a positive learning experience.

This orientation is designed to give you the information and tools you need to be successful in your online courses. Even if you've taken an online course before, be sure to take advantage of the resources and support available.

After you have reviewed each module, you will take a short quiz. 

At the end of the Orientation, you will be sent a Certificate of Completion to your email address.  You can then proceed with the Canvas Student Training which will assist you with how to Navigate around Canvas.

If you have any questions for the Registrar, Student Accounts, Financial Aid, Library, Career Services, Transfer Services or the Learning Center there are discussion boards available to you at the bottom of your Orientation course. You can add a comment there and someone will reach out to you within 24-48 business hours. Just understand that it is an open forum and anyone taking this course can see your post so please do not include any personal information.
