What you contact the Help Desk for:
- Assist students, faculty and staff with computer login issues
- Assist students, faculty and staff with printing issues
- Assist Students, faculty and staff with computer/laptop issues
- Assist students with software “How To” questions
- Assist students, faculty, and staff with configuring wireless devices to connect to our wireless network
- Maintain computer and AV equipment in all labs and classrooms
- Assist students, faculty, and staff with AV equipment setup
Description
The D'Youville College Help Desk offers hands-on technical support for email, web access, file and print sharing, web applications and computer hardware and software (PCs and Macs).
When you submit a request for support through our Help Desk Ticketing System, you enable us to carefully monitor the progress of your request every step of the way. Your request goes directly to the appropriate technical support person for action, and the Help Desk Ticketing System provides you with a tracking number and details about how your new service request will be addressed.
All requests are given direct attention and will be resolved as soon as possible.

Canvas Support
What you contact the Canvas Support for:
- I'm trying to submit an assignment and it won’t let me
- I don’t know how to post to a discussion
- I cannot download a file
- I don’t know how to upload a file
Important Information:
Canvas is the learning management system where all of the online components of your traditional face-to-face courses, and your online courses are housed.
You can get help from Canvas by clicking on the navigation bar on the left of your screen that has a question mark (?). There are a variety of ways to get support.
